About The Position

FCCI Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Specialist (Sr. BDS) for their Mid-Atlantic Region. This role will provide a strong local presence for agents and policyholders, serving as the central point of contact for agency partners. The Sr. BDS will promote sales of commercial property and casualty products through the independent agency system, and be responsible for acquiring and retaining profitable accounts by applying sound underwriting principles that align with company policy. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining strong relationships with agency partners, new account selection, new account pricing, renewal pricing terms, and direct policyholder service. The role involves working with agents to set strategic goals through annual planning sessions. The position is remote, with the territory covering the Richmond, VA area.
