About The Position

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to help accelerate SLINGCO's growth strategy across OEM customers, Private Label / White Label partnerships, and National Electrical Distribution channels throughout the Americas while supporting expansion initiatives in other global regions. This role will serve as both a business development leader and strategic advisor, helping identify where SLINGCO should invest, which markets and channels offer the greatest opportunity, and how we can successfully expand our products, partnerships, and commercial footprint. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of OEM sales, specification-driven selling, private label programs, electrical distribution, and channel development strategies. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, product development, operations, marketing, and regional sales teams to help shape the future direction of SLINGCO's commercial growth strategy. This is not a maintenance sales role; we are seeking a market builder to drive the growth of our cable grip portfolio through new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, channel development, and sustainable commercial expansion.

Requirements

  • Experience within OEM sales, electrical distribution, industrial markets, utility markets, or strategic channel development
  • Strong understanding of OEM business models, specification selling, national account management, and distribution channels
  • Experience working with OEMs, national distributors, industrial distributors, or private label programs
  • Proven ability to develop new business, build strategic partnerships, and grow key accounts
  • Strong commercial and technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and market requirements
  • Strategic thinker capable of identifying new market opportunities and influencing business direction
  • Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and contributing to long-term growth strategy

Responsibilities

  • Help lead and execute SLINGCO's OEM, Private Label, and Distribution growth strategy across the Americas
  • Develop relationships with OEMs, national electrical distributors, channel partners, and key industry stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities across utility, telecommunications, industrial, renewable energy, and infrastructure markets
  • Assess market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity to uncover growth opportunities
  • Advise executive leadership on channel expansion, partnerships, product opportunities, and commercial investments
  • Develop strategic account plans focused on revenue growth, market penetration, and channel expansion
  • Support product development and commercialization initiatives through customer and market insight
  • Identify specification opportunities and support design-in initiatives with OEM partners
  • Collaborate with global sales teams to support international growth initiatives
  • Represent SLINGCO at customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and industry events
