About The Position

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to analyze large and complex datasets from multiple enterprise data sources to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance. The role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify business requirements, and translating them into analytical and reporting solutions. The analyst will design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical visualizations using business intelligence and cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, and SAP Business Objects. This position will provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams to support planning, performance management, and process improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include performing data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks, supporting forecasting and trend analysis, partnering with data engineering and IT teams, developing documentation, ensuring adherence to data governance standards, mentoring junior analysts, and participating in cross-functional initiatives. Travel to various unanticipated client sites within the United States is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science or related.
• 2 years of experience as Software Engineer, Business Analyst or related.
• 2 years' experience in SAP Business Objects, Power BI, and Snowflake.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States only is required.

Nice To Haves

• In lieu of the above, employer will accept 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Business Analyst, or related occupation. No degree required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple enterprise data sources to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify business requirements and translate them into analytical and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical visualizations using business intelligence and cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, and SAP Business Objects.
• Provide data driven insights and recommendations to leadership and cross functional teams to support planning, performance management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and analytical outputs.
• Support forecasting, trend analysis, and performance measurement initiatives using historical and current business data.
• Partner with data engineering and IT teams to ensure appropriate data models, data availability, and optimized access to enterprise data for analytics and reporting.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data definitions, business rules, reporting logic, and analytics processes.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and information security standards while accessing and analyzing enterprise data.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to establishing best practices for business analytics, reporting standards, and data usage across the organization.
• Participate in cross functional initiatives and provide analytical expertise to support enterprise transformation and continuous improvement efforts.
