About The Position

The Senior Business Data Analyst supports warehouse operations by transforming data into actionable insights that improve performance and efficiency. The role collaborates with site leadership and key stakeholders to build dashboards, implement standard tools, and support data-driven decision-making. It may lead projects across multiple sites, support site startups, and serve as a point of contact for analytics community initiatives. The position requires working fully onsite when based out of a warehouse.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or four years of equivalent professional experience.
At least three years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Extensive experience using SQL or other scripting languages, such as Python or R, to query, clean, and transform data.
Proficiency in Power BI, including building dashboards and reports from scratch.
Proficiency in writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports.
Experience designing and managing data pipelines and working with diverse data sources.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling techniques, and modern analytics trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional projects.
Ability to work fully onsite if the role is based out of a warehouse.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI reports for operational and strategic decisions, including data visualizations and back-end data models.
Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements.
Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for a site or sector.
Assist functional teams, including HR and Finance, with customized analytical solutions.
Serve as a point of contact for Power BI questions and analytics community initiatives.
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption.
Manage analytics projects independently and across multiple sites.
Design and implement ETL data pipelines from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.
Use Python, R, or other analytics tools to enhance reporting and automation.
Stay current with data analytics trends and apply best practices to improve processes.
Support site startups by implementing analytics tools and reporting frameworks.
