About The Position

Adaptation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a background in tolling or transportation to join its Adaptation team. This permanent, full-time role requires strong experience in business intelligence, reporting, dashboards, and requirements ownership. The role involves owning the reporting workstream end-to-end, working independently, and engaging confidently with business and technical stakeholders. The position focuses on BI and reporting product ownership and senior business analysis, including Power BI reporting. The successful candidate will work with SQL architects, developers, QA, operations, and client teams. Adaptation provides technology transformation, business change, and staffing services and has more than 20 years of experience supporting companies through organizational and technology changes.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong experience in business intelligence, reporting, dashboards, and requirements ownership.
Experience with Power BI reporting.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience with Agile/Scrum, the Software Development Life Cycle, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and technical documentation.
Ability to work independently and engage confidently with business and technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

Background in tolling, transportation, or transaction processing; tolling or transportation back-office systems experience is preferred.
PMI-Business Analysis certification.

Responsibilities

Own the reporting workstream end-to-end.
Perform business analysis and BI/reporting product ownership.
Develop or support Power BI reporting and dashboards.
Work with business and technical stakeholders, including SQL architects, developers, QA, operations, and client teams.
Define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions from technical and abstract information.
Provide requirements ownership, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
