About The Position

The Senior Business Mortgage Analyst position is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Ft Washington, MD (Washington DC Area) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This role demands a strong understanding of Senior BA Deliverables and proficiency in multiple methodologies. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring that deliverables meet all business and quality requirements. Key responsibilities include analyzing and decomposing complex requirements into comprehensive test cases, working directly with business users and financial analysts, interviewing customers to document business processes and requirements, and defining/resolving business/technical challenges. The role also involves facilitating meetings, managing projects from initiation to implementation, developing user acceptance test cases, preparing instructional documentation, assisting in scope definition, and maintaining business analyst policies and procedures. Experience with SQL queries and testing external-facing web applications in both B2B and B2C environments is essential.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the business users and financial analysts
  • Interview customers to analyze, clarify and document, business processes and customer requirements.
  • Define and assist in resolving business/technical related challenges.
  • Facilitate meetings with business and technical team members to drive towards project completion.
  • Plan and execute the management and maintenance of projects.
  • Support projects as they move from initiation to implementation and conduct project reviews with impacted staff.
  • Develop user acceptance test cases based on the requirements defined.
  • Prepare instructional documentation and update user documentation to reflect new modification.
  • Assist in establishing project scope.
  • Define and maintain business analyst role-based policies and procedures.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
  • Experience testing external-facing web applications
