About The Position

Enky furnishes offices, hotels, and hospitality venues across France, Belgium, the UK, and the Netherlands through a rental model that combines new design furniture with vintage and second-hand pieces. The brands we partner with are crucial to our offering, as every quote, project, and delivery depends on them. As we expand, we are dividing the sourcing function within the Product team into two distinct areas: vintage & second-hand, and new furniture brands. This role will have complete responsibility for the new furniture brands segment, a newly created position. You will manage the entire relationship with our new furniture brand partners, from initial deal negotiation to order placement and follow-up. You will report to Markus, Head of Product, and collaborate closely with our vintage and second-hand sourcing team, who will assist you in your initial weeks. We are seeking an experienced individual who can independently manage brand relationships from the outset and subsequently shape the structure, scale, and professionalization of our brand partnerships as the company grows.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in procurement or buying (as a buyer, procurement manager, or brand account manager) within the furniture or interiors industry.
  • Both furniture or interiors experience and a procurement or buying background are non-negotiable.
  • Strong people skills for managing relationships with over 50 brands, building trust, handling tension, and keeping partners engaged.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of negotiating terms and discount structures directly with furniture brands.
  • Product expertise, including fluency in reading spec sheets and a thorough understanding of fabrics, finishes, and compliance requirements like fire ratings.
  • Rigorous work ethic with a focus on clean data and relentless follow-through.
  • Ability to train others effectively, making brand collections clear and sellable for sales teams.
  • Autonomous from day one, capable of managing brand relationships independently and knowing when to escalate.
  • Professional English language proficiency.

Nice To Haves

  • Office and contract furniture experience is preferred.
  • Wholesale experience is a plus, understanding how brands sell through distribution channels and its implications for pricing and terms.
  • ERP experience is helpful, particularly order management from placement to delivery; Odoo experience is even better.
  • French language proficiency is a real plus given the brand and client base.

Responsibilities

  • Own our brand portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact for over 50 new furniture brands across 4 markets, managing day-to-day relationships, conducting regular business reviews, and handling escalations for delivery delays or specification errors.
  • Lead deal negotiations, establish and defend discount structures, and manage re-quotes based on changes in volume or product ranges to improve margin competitiveness.
  • Ensure the accuracy of product specifications, fabrics, finishes, and compliance data (including fire ratings) for all brand products, selecting options with brands to guarantee that sales quotes match client orders.
  • Manage the end-to-end order process, including placing brand orders in the ERP (Odoo), tracking them through to delivery, and proactively addressing lead times to prevent client issues.
  • Organize brand training sessions for Sales, Project, and Operations teams to enable them to confidently pitch, specify, and sell partner collections.
  • Define the process for onboarding new partners, tracking their performance, and determining which brands to grow, thereby building the brand partnership playbook.

Benefits

  • Equity from day one (Stock options - BSPCE - granted from your first day for employees on a French contract).
  • Transparent pay and progression with a salary grid and career path reviewed annually.
  • Opportunity to grow with the company in a newly created scope within a scaling business.
  • Fully remote work environment.
  • International exposure with brands, clients, and colleagues across France, Belgium, the UK, and the Netherlands.
  • Real ownership with direct interaction with brands, setting terms, owning relationships, and building the playbook.
