About The Position

Fortune Brands is seeking a United States-based technical lead for its Boomi integration platform, which supports 445 integrations and approximately 1.75 million transactions per day across 11 brands and 35 business capabilities. The platform operates around the clock and connects nearly every customer-facing system.

The Senior Boomi Integration Developer owns integration architecture and designs, builds, tests, deploys, maintains, and supports integrations throughout their lifecycle. The role makes production decisions when issues arise and bridges business teams with onshore and offshore developers by translating business needs into technical specifications and ensuring the quality of delivered work.

This position oversees integration projects, provides hands-on development, coordinates delivery teams, establishes development standards and governance, and maintains the reliability, integrity, and scalability of the integration architecture. The role also participates in Scrum ceremonies, validates deliverables against customer requirements, communicates technical concepts to business and user audiences, and identifies opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. The position is available remotely within the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of integration development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Dell Boomi experience.
• At least 3 years of API management experience.
• At least 2 years of ETL development experience.
• At least 1 year of EDI development experience.
• Strong experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL databases, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency with API and web service formats and protocols, including JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and OData.
• Hands-on experience with integration, API, and EDI platforms, particularly Dell Boomi.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as SQL, JavaScript, and Groovy.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
• Strong understanding of integration security best practices, including OAuth, SSL/TLS, and data encryption techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Boomi's AI capabilities.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and platforms such as SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, Shopify, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Service CRM, Oracle EPM, Salsify, Widen, HubSpot, Blue Yonder WMS, Bloomreach, Sage CRM, and Stripe.
• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with EDI formats such as X12 and EDIFACT.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development practices.
• Dell Boomi Integration Platform certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee integration projects and design scalable integration architectures while contributing to hands-on coding and development.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, define, and document integration requirements.
• Translate business and end-user requirements into clear, feasible, scalable technical specifications.
• Lead integration development and coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support integration solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Establish integration development standards, best practices, and governance, and ensure adherence across the organization.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and review, validate, and certify deliverables against customer requirements.
• Maintain the integrity, reliability, scalability, and smooth operation of the integration architecture.
• Identify opportunities to improve integration processes, technologies, and solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Make decisions when production integration issues occur.
