About The Position

Fortune Brands runs a large-scale Boomi integration platform supporting 445 integrations and approximately 1.75 million transactions per day across 11 brands and 35 business capabilities. Nearly every customer-facing system connects through this platform, which operates around the clock. The Senior Boomi Integration Developer is the United States-based technical lead for the integration estate, accountable for its architecture, development, deployment, support, and production reliability.

The role bridges business stakeholders and offshore developers by translating business needs into clear technical specifications and ensuring the quality of delivered work. It combines technical leadership and architecture ownership with hands-on integration development, including designing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting solutions throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of integration development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Dell Boomi experience.
• At least 3 years of API management experience.
• At least 2 years of ETL development experience.
• At least 1 year of EDI development experience.
• Strong experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL databases, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency with API and web service formats and protocols, including JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and OData.
• Hands-on experience with integration, API, and EDI platforms, particularly Dell Boomi.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as SQL, JavaScript, and Groovy.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
• Strong understanding of integration security best practices, including OAuth, SSL/TLS, and data encryption techniques.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Boomi's AI capabilities.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and platforms such as SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, Shopify, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Service CRM, Oracle EPM, Salsify, Widen, HubSpot, Blue Yonder WMS, Bloomreach, Sage CRM, and Stripe.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with EDI formats such as X12 and EDIFACT.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development practices.
• Dell Boomi Integration Platform certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Oversee integration projects and design scalable integration architectures while contributing hands-on to coding and development.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, define, and document integration requirements.
• Translate business and end-user requirements into clear, feasible, and scalable technical specifications.
• Lead integration development activities and coordinate onshore and offshore teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support integration solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce integration development standards, best practices, and governance across the organization.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and review, validate, and certify deliverables against customer requirements.
• Maintain the integrity, reliability, scalability, and smooth operation of the integration architecture.
• Identify opportunities to improve integration processes, technologies, and solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
