About The Position

Carvana is seeking an experienced automotive technician to perform a full range of vehicle repairs and diagnostics, from light maintenance to complex repairs and heavy engine work. The work includes servicing vehicles of all makes and models, diagnosing advanced electrical issues—including on electric and hybrid vehicles—and repairing wheel bearings, axles, and climate-control systems such as air conditioning and heater cores. Technicians work in a high-tech Inspection Center using state-of-the-art tools to help ensure vehicles are ready for customers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime availability. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The position requires working in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. A $3,000 hiring bonus is stated in the job title.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.

Responsibilities
