The engineer conducts technical planning and analysis across the system development lifecycle, develops and traces technical requirements, and writes test plans and procedures to verify and validate component, assembly, and system functions. The position requires technical communication skills, the ability to manage moderately complex assignments with limited oversight, eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of and experience with the design and test of Electronic Warfare systems and associated electronic attack, electronic support, and electronic protection modes of operation.
  • Knowledge of radar, RF systems, signals, emitters, and threat environments.
  • Familiarity with EW mission planning, operational concepts, and platform integration.
  • Experience with technical planning and analysis across the system development lifecycle.
  • Experience developing, decomposing, and tracing technical requirements.
  • Experience writing test plans and test procedures for verification and validation.
  • Knowledge of or experience with hardware/software integration on complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments and manage assigned tasks with limited oversight.
