About The Position

The Senior Associate, Program Management co-manages project resources and schedules, proactively identifies risks, and tracks program performance using appropriate reporting tools. The role monitors delivery, cost, budget, forecast, schedule, and quality targets, and contributes to product development from concept through delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable experience.
• Experience with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, Excel, or Tableau.
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning or management.
• Experience in data analysis.
• Project Management Professional (PMI) certification or an equivalent project management certification, such as Certified Project Management Practitioner, International Project Management Association, Prince2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
• Eligibility to work in the United States; American Express will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop actionable mitigation plans for potential project challenges.
• Monitor project performance against program goals and adjust plans and strategies as needed.
• Prepare project reports and updates, keep stakeholders informed, and maintain current project documentation.
• Monitor project workstreams for compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Align project deliverables with the organization’s strategic goals and business objectives.
• Provide input during Program Increment (PI) planning and other agile ceremonies to pressure-test plans for feasibility, capacity, and risk.
• Contribute to the full product development life cycle, from concept to delivery, including Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Collaborate with product and business teams to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
