About The Position

L3 Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Program Finance team member to manage, prepare, administer, and direct budget control for programs. The role conducts detailed financial analysis and works within an integrated program management team to develop and maintain program cost and revenue controls. It regularly communicates programs’ financial positions to management and evaluates risks and opportunities by understanding program requirements and maintaining dialogue with the integrated program management team.

The position is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, and follows a 9/80 schedule: employees work 9 out of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, and have every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior program finance experience; alternatively, a graduate degree with 0–2 years of experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related program finance experience.

Nice To Haves

• System experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, or Hyperion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting requests for contract setups, renewals, revenue, and invoicing events.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and actual cost reconciliations.
• Forecast program revenue and costs monthly.
• Direct regular reviews of key financial metrics with the program team.
• Perform Hyperion reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling, and respond to ad hoc requests.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and presentations as needed.
• Perform actual-to-forecast analysis.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and alignment with GAAP.
