About The Position

IGM Financial Inc. is a leading wealth and asset management company in Canada. Mackenzie Investments, a key part of IGM, is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Associate to join its Market Research & Insights team. This role is crucial for transforming client and advisor feedback into actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve client experiences. The position emphasizes a hands-on approach to the entire research lifecycle, from survey design to reporting, with a focus on ensuring feedback leads to tangible improvements. The role operates with a high degree of independence and an AI-first entrepreneurial mindset, requiring the ability to connect dots across data sources and market trends to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on market research experience (from survey programming through to final reporting).
  • Demonstrated experience with Qualtrics or similar enterprise research platforms, including survey programming, logic configuration, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (data visualization, executive presentations).

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs and how to move from insight to operational improvement.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools in research workflows, with critical thinking skills to validate outputs and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Own survey design and execution in Qualtrics from programming through deployment and data collection, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
  • Transform complex data into compelling stories that drive executive action, using both quantitative analysis and qualitative insights.
  • Drive actionable CX by routing critical client feedback to the right teams for immediate action.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate insights while maintaining quality through rigorous validation and adherence to IGM’s data governance and ethical standards.
  • Build real-time Qualtrics dashboards that give business partners instant access to key performance indicators (KPIs) and stakeholder sentiment.
  • Act as the technical go-to for Qualtrics, providing troubleshooting, best practices, and platform administration as a Brand Administrator.
  • Safeguard client and advisor data through rigorous adherence to privacy regulations and ethical research standards.
