About The Position

The Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineering implements moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness in the job area. The role involves general problem-solving and innovation opportunities that may require understanding a broader set of issues, though these are typically not complex. Solutions are often based on prior experience and analysis of the issues.

The position operates under general supervision and may take responsibility for entire projects or processes within the job area. It provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees, and may delegate work and review others’ work products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; or a graduate degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

• Manage projects or processes with general supervision.

• Work toward operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
• Take responsibility for entire projects or processes within the job area.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.
• Delegate work and review others’ work products.
