About The Position
The Senior Associate, Fund Administration works directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry, with guidance from experienced industry professionals. The role supports IQ-EQ client leads across multiple private equity funds in diverse industries and helps deliver fund administration services. It applies an understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations, and compliance, while preparing and reviewing financial tasks and supporting audits, year-end processes, team onboarding, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Over 3 years of experience in private equity or a related industry.
- Strong accounting knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to deliver exceptional client service and communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to collaborate in team environments, give and accept constructive feedback, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines accurately and with attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed and consistently produce high-quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple private equity funds in diverse industries.
- Collaborate with the manager, team, and support functions to meet client expectations and deliverables on time.
- Apply understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, allocations, and compliance.
- Prepare and review journal entries, fee and interest calculations, investor notices, and waterfall models.
- Manage audits and year-end processes.
- Assist with onboarding new team members.
- Suggest improvements to operational efficiency.
