Contributes to the overall success of the Global Technology and Enterprise Platforms team globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. In this role, you will champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Employee Technology solutions that address complex business needs. You will work with internal and external groups to formulate, define, test and troubleshoot system configurations for End User Computing (EUC) systems within Scotiabank. You will participate in global governance of EUC Technology standards by assessing products and providing advisory/recommendation on onboarding. You will own and manage incidents and problems to ensure prompt and effective resolution by engaging internal and external partners. You will effectively manage and maintain an EUC Lab that facilitates project and service delivery. You will provide maintenance and support to Application Systems under ownership/stewardship of the team. You will support end-to-end solution lifecycle activities, from discovery and planning through implementation and optimization. You will understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. You will champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
