About The Position

This role will own and operate global social media end-to-end, with full accountability for strategy, execution, and performance at an enterprise level. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to build and run scalable systems, including workflows, governance, approvals, and global operating frameworks. They should possess exceptional project management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and deliver consistently in a fast-paced environment. This is a strategic role that requires setting forward-looking goals and evolving them in response to changing firm needs across structural, strategic, and tactical levels. Strong execution discipline, including socialization of plans, documentation, recordkeeping, and consistent KPI reporting, is essential. The role demands deep platform expertise, with LinkedIn as the firm’s primary channel, supported by strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Meta, and YouTube Shorts. Experience in evolving content strategies, using multiple asset types, experimentation, and performance-led optimization is required. High AI fluency and the ability to apply new tools and technologies to drive efficiency, scale, and continuous improvement are also key. The candidate must be skilled at navigating complexity, including regulatory environments, competing stakeholder needs, and fast-changing platforms. A strong cross-functional collaboration ability is needed to align social strategy with broader business, marketing, and product priorities. Commercial awareness, with asset management experience or a clear commitment to quickly learning Janus Henderson product lines, tracking competitor activity and the broader landscape to inform ideas and recommendations through social listening, is important.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of social media strategy or digital marketing experience
  • 3 to 5 years in a global leadership role
  • Deep knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Meta platforms, YouTube, and familiarity with emerging platforms
  • Proven ability to define strategy, deliver results, and communicate effectively across organizational levels
  • Strong writing skills and advanced understanding of brand storytelling
  • Ability to collaborate across a matrixed organization and communicate with clarity, confidence, and flexibility
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and regulated content workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries strongly preferred.
  • Experience guiding creative teams and partners on visual standards, photo selection, and best practices for social media.
  • Organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and work across multiple projects
