About The Position

Every Man Jack is looking for a Sr. Associate, Social Media who knows how to make content that earns attention — and then does it, consistently. This is the content engine of our organic social team: the person who owns the content calendar, creates and publishes great work across channels, tracks what is resonating, and keeps the team's output moving at the speed of culture. You will work closely with the Sr. Manager, Social Media and the Brand Strategist to execute against channel strategy, manage our social listening tools, and own the publishing cadence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X. You are organized, deeply platform-fluent, and energized by making things, not just planning them.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of social media experience at a consumer brand, with a demonstrated track record of making content that performs
  • Deeply and consistently immersed in social — you know the latest trends, apps, formats, and platform functionality and bring that knowledge into the work proactively
  • Demonstrated experience creating content for a millennial male consumer, with a genuine understanding of his world, interests, and what earns his attention
  • Comfortable producing in-app content independently when the moment calls for it, and equally comfortable briefing a creative team or amplifying creator and ambassador content as part of the channel mix
  • Experience using social listening and community management tools (Sprout, Pinpoint, or equivalent)
  • Strong organizational skills and a consistent publishing cadence — you do not miss deadlines and you do not let the calendar slip
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and speed matters
  • Genuine familiarity with the world our consumer lives in: men’s personal care, sport, outdoor, fitness, wellness
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Own the monthly content calendar, integrating campaign priorities while maintaining space for reactive and cultural content
  • Create and publish content across channels — producing in-app independently when the moment calls for it, briefing the creative team for produced content, and amplifying creator and ambassador content as part of the mix
  • Bring a strong editorial sensibility to everything published — every post should feel intentional and on-voice
  • Own and manage social listening tools (Pinpoint, Sprout Social, or equivalent) — monitoring brand sentiment, competitor activity, and cultural signals relevant to our consumer
  • Surface weekly insights from listening data to inform content decisions and flag cultural moment opportunities to the team
  • Track and report on channel-level performance metrics with a consistent cadence
  • Own proactive community engagement across all organic channels — showing up in the comments, in conversations, and in the moments where our consumer is already talking
  • Manage Pinpoint for reactive community management, ensuring consumer inquiries and brand interactions are handled with speed and on-voice consistency
  • Represent the EMJ brand with warmth and authenticity in every interaction
  • Manage day-to-day publishing and scheduling across all organic channels
  • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm shifts, and new content formats — bringing recommendations to the team proactively
