About The Position

As a key member of the Prego Brand Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of one of America's most recognized pasta sauce brands. This position requires a strategic and analytical marketer who can translate consumer, customer, and marketplace insights into actionable growth strategies across brand building, innovation, omnichannel activation, and business planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • 2-3 years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Innovation, Shopper Marketing, or related commercial functions

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution & support the development of Prego's long-term growth agenda, helping define where the brand can win across core Red Sauce, Alfredo, Blush, and future innovation platforms.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through consumer insight, competitive assessment, retail trends, and performance analytics. Help build a 3-5 year roadmap that accelerates household penetration, increases consumption, and expands usage occasions.
  • Support portfolio strategy by identifying opportunities to optimize assortment, enhance innovation productivity, and ensure resources are aligned to the highest-growth opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Italian meal solutions category, competitive dynamics, and evolving consumer needs.
  • Champion consumer-first growth strategies and strengthening Prego's relevance in modern households. Help uncover new opportunities to drive household penetration, repeat purchase, and meal occasion expansion.
  • Translate consumer and marketplace insights into compelling business recommendations that influence senior leadership decision making.
  • Partner with Shopper Marketing, Omnichannel, Revenue Growth Management, and Sales teams to develop retailer-specific growth strategies and activation plans.
  • Drive initiatives that accelerate Prego's omnichannel performance, including digital shelf excellence, e-commerce growth, search, content optimization, retailer media, and consumer conversion strategies.
  • Help identify opportunities to strengthen performance at key strategic customers, including Walmart, Kroger, Ahold Delhaize, Albertsons, and regional retailers.
  • Partner closely with Innovation, R&D, Consumer Insights, Finance, Integrated Marketing, and Operations teams to develop and commercialize breakthrough innovation and renovation initiatives.
  • Help build and manage a robust pipeline focused on delivering incremental growth, supporting key strategic platforms, and strengthening Prego's role within the broader Campbell's Italian portfolio.
  • Lead project teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and against business objectives.
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing and agency teams to develop consumer communication strategies that strengthen brand equity and drive measurable business impact.
  • Support development of campaigns, content, digital experiences, and shopper activations that build consumer trust in Prego's quality, authenticity, and meal-solution relevance.
  • Leverage consumer and campaign performance data to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Monitor business results across sales, share, household penetration, distribution, velocity, and profitability metrics.
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable recommendations that improve performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support Integrated Business Planning cycles, Monthly Business Reviews, Annual Operating Planning processes, innovation gates, and key leadership presentations.
  • Identify new growth opportunities, evaluate competitive threats, and influence strategic direction across multiple business priorities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent priorities, including innovation launches, retailer programs, consumer campaigns, portfolio optimization, and annual planning processes.
  • Leverage data, insights, and marketplace intelligence to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and improve performance.
  • Effectively influence stakeholders without direct authority.
