About The Position

Veolia is seeking a Senior Application Engineer for a mechanical/chemical process engineering role in industrial water treatment. The position may be performed remotely from anywhere in North America. Candidates must have direct experience in high-purity water, ultrapure water (UPW) systems, or semiconductor water infrastructure. The engineer will serve as a primary technical contact for clients, partnering with Sales and Process Engineering to develop water treatment solutions for complex, mission-critical applications. The role owns the proposal lifecycle from lead qualification through system design, costing, and contract handover, coordinating with global teams and across time zones. The position involves designing custom UPW systems; developing process flow diagrams, mass balances, equipment selections, and system layouts; coordinating proposal schedules and resources; managing vendor and subcontractor relationships; evaluating technical specifications and scope changes; and preparing proposal materials and client presentations. The engineer also translates complex engineering concepts into clear client communications.
