Join Our Team as a Senior Apartment Maintenance Technician. As a Senior Apartment Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert keeping our community running smoothly, our residents happy, and our property looking sharp. As a critical part of the onsite operations team, your responsibilities will include technical and preventive maintenance, service management, team and contractor coordination, mentorship and inventory, and community and safety. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related work
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • A positive, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Pride in your work and the community you help maintain
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Work evenings, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation
  • Operate a golf cart and have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC certification and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and gutter systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance to reduce costly repairs and maximize equipment lifespan
  • Assist with pool maintenance, ensuring proper chemical levels and safety compliance
  • Prioritize and complete resident service requests—always aiming to resolve within 24 hours
  • Monitor vacancies, assist in apartment turns, and ensure move-in readiness
  • Provide clear, written updates to residents on work performed
  • Support the Property Manager in assigning tasks to the maintenance team
  • Collaborate with and oversee outside contractors to maintain high-quality standards
  • Participate in the on-call emergency rotation
  • Help train and guide junior maintenance team members
  • Assist with inventory management, ensuring all tools and supplies are stocked and in good condition
  • Maintain property cleanliness and curb appeal—removing debris, tidying grounds
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
  • Report hazardous or unusual situations promptly
