An active, transferable U.S. government security clearance is required before starting; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • At least 5 years of prior relevant experience, which may include experience testing antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range; operating an antenna, radome, and/or RCS chamber or range; and knowledge of antenna and/or sensor measurement theory and range operation.
  • Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued security clearance before the start date and ability to obtain special program access after starting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science or Ph.D. in electrical engineering.
  • Significant experience simulating and/or estimating the effects of propagation, reflections, and scattering on an antenna under test (AUT) in an anechoic chamber.
  • Experience measuring hardware for RCS.
  • Significant experience specifying, building, and validating antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges or chambers.
  • Proficiency with Python, MATLAB, and/or other high-level scientific programming languages.
  • Proficiency with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM.
  • Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, and GRASP.
