About The Position
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is responsible for monitoring compliance of signatories to the World Anti-Doping Code (Code). WADA’s IT group is responsible for the development and maintenance of several large scale and complex web and mobile application systems that support various anti-doping activities. Under the supervision of the Head of Development, the Senior Software Quality Assurance will contribute to the test strategy, implement complex test scenarios and ensure the products meet customer specifications in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The successful candidate must have experience and knowledge of in manual and automated testing at the functional, integration and regression levels in an agile setting. They will play an essential role in designing the software quality testing framework.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of QA experience testing web/mobile applications
- Proven success in planning, designing, executing and maintaining manual and automated test suites
- Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases, to investigate issues or generate test data
- Ability to interact with business analysts, testers and developers in their languages
- Excellent communication skills (explain, convince, persuade) in a coaching and mentoring role
- Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to write and maintain technical documentation
- Excellent oral and written skills in one of the two WADA official languages (English/French) and very good command of the other official language; Additional languages would be an asset

Responsibilities
- Ensure product quality throughout the development process via test design, execution and defect management
- Keep test strategy up to date with industry standards and product evolution
- Conduct regression testing and release verification
- Participate in the agile SDLC, provide support for issues investigation and product improvements, increase test coverage and percentage of test automation
- Mentor junior QA in test planning
