About The Position

The Senior Performance and Attribution Analyst supports investment performance reporting, attribution, and competitor analytics for a broad range of Fidelity portfolios. The role partners with investment staff and senior leaders to address complex questions about performance results, attribution drivers, and competitive positioning, while collaborating with internal teams—including index, accounting, and advisors—and external data providers to ensure insights are accurate, consistent, and meaningful. The analyst supports new product development, including alternative investment products, and works with advisors and investment product teams to meet performance and attribution requirements for new strategies. The role also partners with technology teams and business stakeholders to define requirements for product launches and fund structure changes, ensuring strategies are accurately represented in performance and attribution platforms. The Performance, Attribution & Product Disclosure team supports Fidelity advisors and investment staff with reporting and analytics. It monitors portfolio, index, and third-party data; validates portfolio-level performance, attribution results, and peer rankings; and reviews fund- and holdings-level activity. The team produces daily, periodic (monthly, quarterly, and annual), and ad hoc reports that analyze returns on an absolute, relative, and peer basis. These insights support internal reporting, Board of Trustees materials, marketing deliverables, and portfolio management discussions.
