Senior Analyst, Performance & Attribution

Fidelity Investments•Westlake, TX

About The Position

The Senior Performance and Attribution Analyst supports investment performance reporting, attribution, and competitor analytics for a broad range of Fidelity portfolios. The analyst partners with investment staff and senior leaders to address complex questions about performance results, attribution drivers, and competitive positioning. The role collaborates with internal teams, including index, accounting, and advisor teams, as well as external data providers, to ensure performance and competitor insights are accurate, consistent, and meaningful. The analyst supports new product development, including alternative investment products, by working with advisors and investment product teams to ensure performance and attribution requirements are met for new strategies. The role also works with technology teams and business partners to define requirements for product launches and fund structure changes, so investment strategies are represented accurately in Performance and Attribution platforms. The Performance, Attribution & Product Disclosure team supports Fidelity advisors and investment staff with performance, attribution, and competitor analytics. The team monitors portfolio, index, and third-party data and validates portfolio-level performance, attribution results, and competitor peer-group rankings. Analysts review fund- and holdings-level activity and produce daily, periodic, and ad hoc reports that decompose portfolio returns on an absolute, relative, and peer basis. These insights support internal reporting, Board of Trustees materials, marketing deliverables, and portfolio management discussions.
