About The Position

Precise Systems is seeking a Senior Analyst to support a U.S. Navy customer. This program focuses on improving operational availability and mission effectiveness through readiness and sustainment support, while controlling costs and optimizing resources. The role involves using collaborative, data-driven operating models that encompass end-to-end readiness ecosystems, including operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management. AI-enabled approaches are desired to enhance analysis and decision support. Key responsibilities include producing readiness assessments and decision-support products, establishing and maintaining consistent readiness metrics and reporting, and integrating data from multiple sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards. Advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques such as forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing of maintenance narratives will be used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-off decisions balancing near-term readiness with longer-term capability objectives, including Fleet legacy platform/systems sustainment and modernization transitions. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience.
  • Fifteen years of related experience.
  • Of the fifteen years of related experience, six (6) years must be direct experience in the People (CVN &TMS) concentration area: Supports the generation of people readiness for CVNs & TMSs. Working knowledge of the training and provider processes that generate people readiness.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior level DoW government experience (GS14-15, O5-O6) may be considered favorably.
  • AI-enabled approaches are a desired element of the solution.
  • Advanced analytics and, where appropriate, AI/ML techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing of maintenance narratives) are used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-space decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate enterprise-wide knowledge and experience in one or more designated functional and/or concentration areas.
  • Provide support to the customer on program/project operations.
  • Develop and execute successful strategic plans.
  • Define problems, analyze and develop strategies to achieve assigned objectives.
  • Manage the preparation of analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for implementation.
  • Provide complex statistical modeling and analysis.
  • Evaluate existing business goals, team functionality, and cross-discipline cooperation and develop recommendations to improve internal performance, shorten throughput time, and minimize internal costs, while increasing the overall quality of work, product, or service output.
  • Implement improved systems, procedures and organizational changes.
  • Employ analysis techniques, such as work breakdown structures, activity-based costing, process and productivity improvement measurements, and program audits/evaluations and performance testing to achieve stated objectives.
