About The Position

Precise Systems is seeking a Senior Analyst to support a U.S. Navy customer. This program focuses on improving operational availability and mission effectiveness through readiness and sustainment support, while controlling costs and optimizing resources. The role involves using collaborative, data-driven operating models that encompass end-to-end readiness ecosystems, including operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management. AI-enabled approaches are desired to enhance analysis and decision support. Key responsibilities include producing readiness assessments and decision-support products, establishing and maintaining consistent readiness metrics and reporting, and integrating data from multiple sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards. Advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques such as forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing of maintenance narratives will be used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-off decisions balancing near-term readiness with longer-term capability objectives, including Fleet legacy platform/systems sustainment and modernization transitions. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience.
Fifteen years of related experience.
Of the fifteen years of related experience, six (6) years must be direct experience in the People (CVN &TMS) concentration area: Supports the generation of people readiness for CVNs & TMSs. Working knowledge of the training and provider processes that generate people readiness.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior level DoW government experience (GS14-15, O5-O6) may be considered favorably.
AI-enabled approaches are a desired element of the solution.
Advanced analytics and, where appropriate, AI/ML techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing of maintenance narratives) are used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-space decisions.

Responsibilities

Manage the preparation of analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for implementation.
Provide complex statistical modeling and analysis.
Evaluate existing business goals, team functionality, and cross-discipline cooperation and develop recommendations to improve internal performance, shorten throughput time, and minimize internal costs, while increasing the overall quality of work, product, or service output.
Implement improved systems, procedures and organizational changes.
Employ analysis techniques, such as work breakdown structures, activity-based costing, process and productivity improvement measurements, and program audits/evaluations and performance testing to achieve stated objectives.
