How you’ll make an impact: The Senior Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Automotive, Affinity, Aviation/Marine and Retail Sales groups with the execution of Operations Strategies through development and tracking of key performance metrics.Specific responsibilities include the management and optimization of reporting tools/databases critical to enhancing program performance and facilitating management reporting and analytics.In this fully qualified, career-oriented role, the analyst independently evaluates operational data issues of diverse scope, selects appropriate methods and techniques for solutions, and translates findings into recommendations that improve program performance. The primary focus will be in the Automotive group to ensure accurate and timely data processing and activation, specifically related to processing of records, record fallout and exception. The individual in this role will need to provide technical knowledge, business insight and strategic development skills. The role is accountable for resolving a wide range of reporting, record-processing, fallout, and exception issues in creative, scalable ways while applying technical knowledge, business insight, and strategic development skills.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and normally receive little instruction on day-to-day work while applying independent judgment to short-term assignments and new requests
  • Grasps key system process/functionality quickly; uses learnings to guide analyses
  • Ability to simplify technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Self-Starter that provides thought leadership around building new reports and enhancing metrics that benefit internal stakeholders and proactively identifies creative ways to resolve reporting and operational issues across supported teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works proactively, problem-solves, follows through on projects and manage expectations.
  • Ability to leverage multiple databases with large volumes of information
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Tableau required.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of SQL required.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring on-going program operations through reporting, controls and process validations, data analysis, testing and system understanding; independently evaluate identifiable factors in operational data and recommend solutions that strengthen reporting accuracy, controls, and performance visibility
  • Propose business processes, database revisions and reporting for improved operations and increased performance toward goals; use sound judgment to select methods, techniques, and reporting approaches that address business needs and operational variances
  • Responsible for creating and managing daily Tableau reporting, including official business performance reporting. Create and maintain a repository of reports available to supported business teams in support of business needs and reporting accuracy; own quality, accuracy, and optimization of business-critical reporting outputs and maintain clear documentation for supported teams
  • Identify areas of opportunity for general process improvement and operational efficiencies within supported teams, and specifically Automotive Remarketing as it relates to trial starts and record processing; develop creative, scalable recommendations that improve trial-start, record-processing, and operational workflows
  • Support members of the Automotive Remarketing, Affinity, Aviation/Marine, Retail Sales and Automotive Field teams with ad-hoc and recurring tasks and long-term projects upon request. Lead data-mining activities for opportunities in conjunction with business development objectives and activities. Collaborate with functional areas for reporting ideas and improvements. Network with senior internal stakeholders in supported business areas to clarify objectives, communicate insights, and align reporting improvements with business development priorities.

Benefits

  • We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $72,000 to $95,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
