About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Marketplace is responsible to ensure Walmart Canada Marketplace sellers are fulfilling our customer promise. In this role, you will be required to establish business relationships with sellers, monitor their performance against key KPIs, and influence sellers to ensure they are offering our customers the best experience on Walmart.ca. You will coordinate seller operations reviews with the Marketplace Key Account Management team. You will work with the Walmart.ca technology team to ensure that all opportunities with Marketplace operations are being escalated appropriately, specifically any day-to-day opportunities hindering sellers from shipping to our customers. You will be an escalation point and partner to the customer service team; offering support by leveraging your relationship with sellers to provide an excellent experience to Walmart.ca customers. You will also be responsible for representing Marketplace operations in eCommerce projects. You will be a subject matter expert, and work with cross-functional teams to plan and communicate efforts required from sellers. All developments that come from these eCommerce wide projects will be designed to improve customer satisfaction and trust. Top candidates for this position will have a solid background in vendor/seller management and customer service. A successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to influence sellers. Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1-3 years of vendor management and customer service required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence Sellers is required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make clear recommendations for improvement based on large amounts of data.
• Age – 16 or older

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Retail Merchandising, Operations, or eCommerce is an asset.
• Comfort working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build strong business and operations relationships with Marketplace sellers.
• Manage seller performance against key Marketplace KPIs.
• Manage seller performance review processes.
• Work with sellers to identify and resolve any issues and provide solutions to ensure we offer a positive customer experience.
• Act as an escalation point for all customer inquiries/requests and work with sellers to ensure customers have a great experience on Walmart.ca.
• Represent Marketplace as an operations subject matter expert in all eCommerce projects. Plan, communicate, and drive adoption of any effort required by sellers.
• Design and develop future Marketplace operations and fulfillment processes.
• Liaise with store teams to address and resolve opportunities related to Marketplace site-to-store shipments.
