About the position
Citizen is seeking a high-performing individual to join their Finance and Business Operations team. This role will involve providing financial support and business partnering across the organization, including accounts payable, contracts review, investor relations, tax filing, and external audit. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and Business Operations and will need to prioritize effectively, navigate ambiguity, and demonstrate exceptional execution skills. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial forecasts and annual budgets
- Monitor and track financial performance, highlight areas of concerns or improvement
- Identify time- or cost-saving opportunities to drive improved financial performance
- Synthesize and prepare presentation such as variance analysis and forecasts to key business partners
- Process payments in adherence to company policies and procedures. Review invoices for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and obtain necessary approvals
- Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with record retention policies
- Provide analysis and insights on payables, aging reports, and other relevant metrics. Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements
- Analyze vendor contract terms and conditions, identify risks and opportunities, ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, track milestone deliverables, identify potential issues and take proactive measures to resolve them
- Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate amendments and improve deal terms
- Participate in investor audits
