Black Diamond, Trust is seeking an experienced data conversion professional to lead data mapping, financial balancing, and database loading activities for client implementations. The ideal candidate brings advanced SQL Server skills, strong client leadership, and experience with trust accounting. SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and health care operations. Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence. You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 10+ years’ experience in data mapping and conversion
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Hands on experience with Microsoft database technologies, including SQL Server, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes, and database architecture
- Project Management skills are critical to this position, as success involves strict adherence to projected release dates
- Ability to work proactively, both independently and in small groups
- Strong analytical skills to identify system and business impacts
Nice To Haves
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in trust accounting and knowledge of P&I accounting
Responsibilities
- Takes a leadership role in all aspects of the design, development and implementation of data mapping and conversion
- Subject matter expert on system schema, data mapping and financial balancing at conversion
- Supports tax processing by optimizing data transmission between applications
- Client liaison for data related issues; identifies and works to resolve discrepancies
- Supports implementation team throughout client onboarding for any data related matters
- Develops scripts and facilities to optimize data loading processes to ensure timely completion
