About The Position

LaSalle Investment Management is seeking a full-time Senior Analyst to join its Debt Capital Markets team in our Chicago office. This role will be responsible for assisting in the financial analysis of lender quotes and hedging strategies, developing financial models and dashboards, organizing internal systems, and facilitating due diligence and loan closing processes. The Senior Analyst will also interface with key internal groups, monitor market dynamics, and build relationships with clients, brokers, and lenders.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years successful and relevant underwriting debt experience, including CMBS, Balance Sheet, Debt Fund or Agency experience.
  • Highly skilled in modeling investments in Excel; Argus experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of underwriting real estate fundamentals and ability to create DCF, NPV and cash flow models.
  • Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach.

  • Argus experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the financial analysis of lender quotes and hedging strategies to determine optimal outcomes for the equity business.
  • Aid in the development of dashboards and financial models.
  • Organize and maintain internal systems.
  • Facilitate the due diligence and loan closing processes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interface with key internal groups including Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Accounting, and Treasury.
  • Monitor market dynamics and communicate trends to internal stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with clients, brokers, and lenders to support marketing efforts.
