About The Position

As a Senior Analyst, Customer Insights & Integration, you will translate complex data into meaningful, high-quality insights that inform business strategy, enhance customer experience, and drive growth opportunities. In this role, you will synthesize multiple data sources, integrate diverse datasets, and identify emerging trends while separating meaningful signals from noise to create a clear, forward-looking view of the business and customer landscape. Leveraging advanced analytical techniques and strong statistical expertise, you will ensure data accuracy, precision, and rigorous quality assurance. You will partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to elevate insights, connect patterns to actionable opportunities, and guide confident, data-driven decision-making. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non ‑ Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team, and the recruiter or hiring manager will provide additional details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or insights roles
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling techniques
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources
  • Strong expertise in advanced analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to business partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish meaningful signals from noise and prioritize insights for business impact
  • Experience with AI or machine learning tools for data analysis and insight generation

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of experience in customer experience, insights, or analytics roles
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical methods, predictive modeling, or experimental design
  • Familiarity with integrating data across research, operational, and market sources
  • Understanding of business strategy, growth drivers, and customer experience principles
  • Ability to mentor others in data quality, analytics methods, and insight generation

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize large and complex datasets from multiple sources to identify meaningful patterns, emerging opportunities, risks, and strengths
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and accuracy of data used in analyses, applying statistical rigor to distinguish noise from actionable insight
  • Translate analysis into clear, concise, and compelling insights for business partners, highlighting implications for strategy, operations, and customer experience
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and other tools to communicate trends and insights effectively
  • Partner with your direct manager and cross-functional data teams to connect insights to business questions, operational initiatives, and strategic priorities
  • Apply advanced analytical methods, modeling, and statistical techniques to drive deeper understanding of customers, markets, and business performance
  • Occasionally support or advise on research initiatives, ensuring analyses integrate with broader data and insights sources
  • Identify emerging trends, potential risks, and growth opportunities, and elevate findings to inform business decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes, standards, and best practices across the Customer Insights & Integration team
  • Leverage text analytics and sentiment analysis to understand customer sentiment.
