About The Position

The Client Engagement Department engages internally with our business stakeholders and externally with our brokers, policyholders and TPA clients. We work to drive strategic partnerships, enhance client relationships, and optimize account management strategies. This group is instrumental in expanding our market presence, strengthening client retention, and fostering long-term business relationships that contribute to revenue growth and operational excellence focused on the voice of the customer. As a Senior Analyst, Client Engagement, you will use your analytical expertise, commercial insurance knowledge, and client-focused mindset to help elevate the experience of Safety National’s brokers and policyholders. You will lead the development of tailored engagement strategies across key commercial insurance portfolios, using data-driven insights to strengthen relationships, enhance service delivery, and support retention and growth. You will own the design and delivery of engagement dashboards, client scorecards, stewardship reports, and other analytics that turn complex information into actionable strategies. By monitoring policy performance, claims trends, renewal behaviors, and service utilization, you will proactively identify client risks and opportunities and help position Safety National as a trusted advisor. Working across Client Engagement, Underwriting, Actuarial, Claims, Sales, and other business areas, you will serve as a strategic liaison to ensure client needs and engagement strategies translate into effective execution. You will help optimize the client journey from onboarding through renewal, provide insights for client meetings and strategic reviews, and coordinate across teams to resolve service issues and maintain transparency around account activity and client needs. In this senior-level role, you will also identify opportunities to improve engagement processes and data flows, support account retention and service model enhancements, and provide guidance to junior analysts. Your ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external audiences, manage competing priorities, and become a trusted departmental resource and client advocate will be essential to your success.

Requirements

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer success, analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform root-cause analysis and develop action plans based on findings
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, take ownership of projects, and work effectively with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to and promoting a collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • A degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with a commercial insurance carrier, broker, or Third Party Administrator
  • Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Experience working directly with broker partners and large commercial insured clients
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Guidewire, or other insurance core systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
  • Prior success influencing account retention, cross-sell efforts, or service model enhancements through analytics
  • Insurance designations such as CPCU, ARM, APA, CLCS, AINS, AIS, or similar designations
