Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Financial modeling experience required
  • Proficiency in Argus, Microsoft Excel, and Word required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across finance, research, acquisitions, asset management, portfolio management, and marketing.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–4 years of real estate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with asset management and acquisitions for office and retail assets, including financial modeling, client reporting, property valuation analysis, lease and tenant analysis, and special projects for select separate account and fund portfolios.
  • Prepare client reports and respond to ad hoc client information requests.
  • Assist with underwriting and analysis for potential new retail investments.
  • Participate in due diligence and closing processes for new retail investments, including pro forma analysis, market and competitive positioning, tenant interviews, third-party market research, and property-level feasibility review.
  • Maintain property valuation files and conduct periodic internal valuations for business plans and transaction analysis.
  • Review annual operating budgets and support the creation of business plans.
  • Analyze lease transactions and prepare tenant credit reviews.
  • Assist with financing and disposition transactions.
  • Interact with senior-level Asset Managers, Research staff, Portfolio Managers, and industry professionals to gather information, update valuation model assumptions, and communicate property-specific performance and issues.
  • Administer valuation information exchanges with third-party appraisers and review draft appraisal reports.
  • Support special projects and prepare additional reports as needed.
