Senior Analog Engineer

Renesas Electronics•Duluth, GA
•Onsite

About The Position

Architect, design, and verify CMOS analog blocks for custom ASICs, meeting stringent performance, area, power, and timeline constraints. The blocks include Rx, Tx, PLL, and other high-precision analog circuits. The role designs, simulates, and validates advanced analog circuits, including DDR I/O interfaces such as receivers, transmitters, PLLs, bandgaps, and high-speed mixed-signal circuits in fine-geometry processes. It develops and optimizes high-speed DDR I/O interfaces for signal integrity, noise immunity, and industry-standard compatibility. Receiver work includes CTLE, VGA, DFE, and slicer circuits, with attention to sensitivity, linearity, noise, and power. Transmitter work includes drivers, Cio, impedance calibration, linearity, ESD, and power consumption. The engineer collaborates with digital design engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate analog and digital components. The role includes comprehensive simulation and testing, troubleshooting and corrective action, detailed documentation, and ensuring designs meet EM/IR/Aging requirements. It also ensures layouts meet high standards for analog matching and performance, and proposes innovative solutions, with a focus on low-power circuit design. Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solution provider with a global team of more than 21,000 employees across more than 30 countries. Its work spans Automotive, Industrial, Infrastructure, and IoT. The company describes its culture as TAGIE: Transparent, Agile, Global, Innovative, and Entrepreneurial. Renesas offers a competitive benefits package; details are provided during the hiring process. The position is not available for remote work.
