About The Position

Provides expert statewide leadership in sterilisation services and dental assistant clinical practice across Oral Health Services Tasmania. The position supports implementation and sustained compliance with National and Australian Standards and infection control requirements through governance input, process development, workforce support, and system-level coordination.

Requirements

• Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience in sterilisation services and dental assisting clinical practice, including application of relevant National and Australian Standards and infection control principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead statewide system improvements through the development and implementation of protocols, tools, audits or training programs that support consistent, safe, and compliant sterilisation services and dental assisting clinical practice.
• Proven capability in providing clinical support and professional leadership, with a track record of influencing practice change, building workforce capability, and supporting continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

• Holds or willingness to work towards Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services
• Certificate IV in Dental Assisting
• Current Driver’s Licence
