About The Position

The Senior Advisor for Institutional Accreditation, Effectiveness, and Efficiency serves as the Provost’s principal officer for institutional accountability, performance measurement, and operational stewardship. This role ensures that Colorado Christian University’s academic enterprise is coherent, measurable, compliant, and efficient, ordered toward mission fidelity and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in institutional accreditation, regulatory compliance, and higher education governance.
  • A terminal degree required. Each faculty member must be considered highly qualified as outlined by the university’s accreditation and academic standards.
  • A systems-oriented mindset, with the ability to align assessment, retention, enrollment, and student outcomes within a unified institutional framework.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and trustees.
  • Proven operational leadership, with experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing streamlined, scalable solutions.
  • Sound financial acumen, including prudent budget stewardship aligned with academic priorities and long-term institutional sustainability.
  • The ability to lead across functions, coordinating effectively with both academic and administrative units.
  • Excellent judgment in sensitive and high-stakes areas, including student policy exceptions, academic integrity, and ADA/504 compliance.
  • A demonstrated commitment to advancing student success, including persistence, financial accessibility, and holistic support systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to represent the Provost’s Office with clarity and credibility to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Teach at a minimum of 12 credits (four courses/year) across all academic colleges and academies, College of Adult and Graduate Studies, College of Undergraduate Studies (CAGS, CUS), CCU Academy.
  • Lead institutional accreditation strategy, reaffirmation, and reporting.
  • Ensure all academic policies and practices meet regulatory and accreditor expectations.
  • Build a unified Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework across schools, CUS, CAGS, and CCU-Academy.
  • Align assessment, retention, enrollment, and outcomes into a single performance system.
  • Translate institutional data into decision-ready insight for the Provost and Cabinet.
  • Identify redundancies across academic and administrative processes.
  • Streamline workflows, especially those spanning Registrar, advising, and scheduling.
  • Partner with Finance to align academic strategy and budget stewardship.
  • Ensure that major institutional initiatives (retention, enrollment growth, pricing) are coordinated.
