About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the Ring Laser Gyroscope (RLG) production line. The role influences the planning and design of manufacturing engineering processes, determines the parts and tools needed to meet manufacturing goals for existing and new processes and product technologies, and improves efficiency through analysis of equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization. The engineer supports daily production activities and drives producibility improvements in a challenging environment. The position provides test and manufacturing support, analyzes yield and performance data to monitor process capability and product health, and uses CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to guide engineering standard work. It also involves resolving technical issues, increasing capacity through cycle-time reduction, new capital equipment, and yield improvements, and developing product and process improvements to reduce cost and cycle time. The engineer assists with new-product process development and supports test equipment knowledge and preventive maintenance plans to sustain factory capacity and efficient product flow. The role helps foster a self-driven workforce focused on RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals. The annual base salary range is $116,000–$144,000. Candidates must meet the U.S. person requirement under applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations.
