Honeywell Aerospace•Minneapolis, MN
•$116,000 - $144,000

About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace’s team develops new or modified processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods used in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscopes (RLGs). The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer influences the planning and design of manufacturing engineering processes and determines the parts and tools needed to meet manufacturing goals for existing and new processes and product technologies. The role analyzes equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization to maximize efficiency; supports daily production activities; and drives producibility improvements. The position provides test and manufacturing support for the RLG production line, analyzes yield and performance data, resolves technical issues, and supports capacity growth through cycle-time reduction, equipment investment, and yield improvement. It also contributes to product and process improvements, new product process development, test-equipment knowledge, and preventative maintenance planning. The role supports factory capacity, efficient product flow, and workforce goals including RTY, BIQ, and COPQ. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least seven years of manufacturing engineering experience. The position requires U.S. person status for compliance with export control laws. The annual base salary range is $116,000–$144,000.
