Community Hospice is seeking a compassionate, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated hospice team. This important role supports our mission of providing exceptional care and service to patients, families, and the community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative or secretarial experience
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer applications and data entry
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Answering and directing calls through a multi-line phone system
  • Routing calls and messages to clinical and field staff
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors to the office
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail
  • Managing incoming faxes and electronic communications
  • Assisting with medical record and chart audits
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Utilizing various computer software programs and office systems
  • Providing general administrative support to the hospice team
