About The Position

The Hardware Engineering Department is seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to provide operational, logistical, and administrative support to engineering leadership and project teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment. This role is critical to ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations and helping the team stay focused on engineering execution. This Senior Administrative Assistant position will be based onsite at our McKinney, TX facility. Relocation is not available for this role.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience with calendar management & meeting coordination
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to support a high performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Engineering leadership team including scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute departmental communications, presentations, and documentation.
  • Assist with generating, tracking, and organizing engineering documents, reports, and project records.
  • Coordinate departmental meetings, events, and technical reviews; manage agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Support onboarding activities for new engineering team members.
  • Assist with budget tracking, purchase requisitions, and invoice processing.
  • Maintain department organization systems including shared drives, project folders, and resource libraries.
  • Serve as a liaison between Engineering and other business functions such as HR, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Facilities.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports for engineering staff.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to compliance, training, and internal audit readiness.
  • Support departmental initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
