About The Position

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides advanced administrative and secretarial support services to an assigned Vice President. Responsibilities include preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations; coordinating schedules and meetings; maintaining records and files; and supporting executive-level operations. This role requires a high degree of responsibility, accountability, confidentiality, and discretion. The individual anticipates executive needs, supports special projects, coordinates communication across stakeholders, and serves as a key liaison with physicians, staff, board members, volunteers, patients, and visitors. Success in this role requires strong initiative, sound judgment, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to teamwork and organizational excellence.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive administrative, executive assistant, or office management experience (preferably in healthcare)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advanced administrative support, including managing executive calendars, preparing complex correspondence and presentations, tracking budgets, and supporting high-level operational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including executives, physicians, board members, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion; sound judgment and ability to make independent decisions
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills; able to work effectively under pressure and manage frequent interruptions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems
  • Familiarity with AV and standard office equipment
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and basic financial concepts
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while modeling PRIIDE values and fostering a positive team environment
