About The Position

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides operational, administrative, and data support for the Lepage Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The role manages the Executive Director’s calendar and expenses, coordinates Center spaces and events, and serves as the primary administrator of the Center’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This position builds simple, AI-based tools to help teammates match mentors for student ventures and community businesses, maintains accurate stakeholder records, and shares clear monthly snapshots of engagement. The position also leads student fellow hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and basic training to ensure smooth operations across programs. The Senior Administrative Assistant ensures a professional environment and seamless day-to-day operations for staff, faculty, and guests.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree OR a high school diploma together with two years of relevant work experience the last three of which in administration, coordination and support of programs and/or projects.
  • Experience in budget and expense control.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Time management and independent problem solving.
  • Project and event coordination.
  • Experience working across teams.
  • Experience with relationship management and stakeholder engagement tracking.
  • Excellent telephone and communication skills.
  • Ability to design, create, and maintain databases.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and workflow automation tools.
  • Willingness to learn new skills on a frequent basis.
  • Outstanding grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and CRM tools such as Airtable, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Canva and Adobe creative suite a plus.
  • At least five years office management work preferred.
