About The Position

This role is for a Senior Accounting Manager who will be responsible for various accounting functions, including technical accounting research and analysis. The position requires strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams and potentially travel domestically and internationally. The company provides Recruitment and Staffing services and is looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience
Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS (e.g., revenue, leasing, pensions, M&A).
Experience in technical accounting research and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex issues to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams across domestic and international locations.
Advanced Excel
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
Leadership skills to guide teams and influence stakeholders.
Interest in global career growth

Nice To Haves

CPA and Big 4 experience (strongly preferred)
SAP experience a plus
Local to the surrounding Rocky Hill CT area.
Enthusiastic about being in -office 3x per week.
Seasoned leader (executive presence. This is a senior manager, not just a manager).
Big 4 (MANDATORY).
Minimum of 7-10 years in accounting, preferably audit.
