Our continued growth has created an exciting opportunity to join our Finance and Accounting team as a Senior Accountant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
  • 3+ years of related experience.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, with ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and operate independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Financials ERP experience a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post standard and non-standard journal entries during the month-end and year-end close.
  • Reconciling balance sheet and P&L accounts monthly.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial statements.
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audits.
  • Prepare joint venture service fee entries and monthly statements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
