About The Position

The Senior Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization to promote accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the finance function. This role contributes to the preparation of financial statements, account reconciliations, cost accounting analyses, and audit support activities while assisting with budgeting, reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives. The position is also partnered with operations and finance teams to support financial visibility and informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
  • Five or more years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to support accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and research discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and related financial reporting activities.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to help ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
  • Perform fixed asset accounting activities, including depreciation schedules and asset tracking.
  • Assist with cost accounting functions, including inventory analysis, standard costing, margin analysis, and manufacturing cost reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes through financial analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support documentation for internal and external audit requests.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and finance teams to support reporting and business initiatives.
