About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this individual will play a critical role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, annual audit, equity accounting, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate combines a strong technical accounting foundation with a passion for automation, operational excellence, and scalable processes. This role is defined for a high-performing accounting professional who is ready to develop into an Accounting Manager within the next few years.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred (or in progress)
  • 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at a high-growth SaaS company
  • 2-4 years of Big Four experience strongly preferred
  • Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, including equity accounting, ASC 350-40, and ASC 842
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Carta, and FloQast or BlackLine
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort using AI/automation tools to improve accounting workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP
  • Experience participating in a NetSuite implementation, ERP conversion, or financial systems transformation.
  • Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition.
  • IPO readiness or SOX experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses for assigned GL areas (fixed assets, prepaids, leases, accruals, intercompany)
  • Own the equity roll-forward and stock-based compensation accounting (ASC 718), partnering with Legal, HR, and Carta
  • Prepare supporting schedules and footnotes for audited financial statements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors within your areas
  • Identify and drive process automation and close efficiency improvements
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue, Payroll, AP/AR, FP&A, and IT; mentor staff accountants as the team grows
