As a Senior Accountant , you will play a key role in supporting our regional and retail-focused finance activities. You will partner closely with the Senior Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to execute accurate technical accounting, lead IFRS reporting processes, and drive continuous improvement in month-end close and intercompany operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting experience or 3+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and demonstrated experience applying them in ambiguous or technical situations.
  • Experience with general ledger functions including AP, AR, intercompany transactions, accruals, and intangibles.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, tables, and pivot charts.
  • Ability to build workbooks to analyze and present data.
  • Proven ability to work with accuracy, attention to detail, and within tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle ERP experience
  • Exposure to mid-sized or large companies, particularly in retail environments.
  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Strong analytical approach with an ability to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Curiosity and a hunger to grow into broader responsibilities.
  • Experience with macros or VBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical accounting processes related to IFRS 15 (ASC 606) and IFRS 16 (ASC 842), including ongoing analysis and validation of calculations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the financial statement close and intercompany activities across Amplifon Americas and Italy.
  • Prepare month-end general ledger reconciliations, investigating outstanding or out-of-balance items.
  • Support internal and external audits, including creating standalone financial statements for two Americas business units.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports; interpret and analyze financial data to recommend corrective actions.
  • Partner with Procurement on Procure-to-Pay activities, account understanding, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with procurement and regional finance leaders, to resolve discrepancies and strengthen accounting accuracy.
