About The Position

This role is responsible for developing highly customized and integrated marketing communication strategies for large corporate group accounts. Provides oversight, guidance and marketing recommendations to stakeholders to drive growth and influence and implement the communication strategy.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in account management and/or sales required.
  • 3 years experience in marketing communications programs preferred.
  • Experience working with employee benefits products.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Develops and delivers effective presentations
  • Possesses strong technical aptitude
  • Possesses strong product knowledge
  • Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Ability to review metrics and make recommendations
  • Ability to present marketing campaigns, ideas and tests to external contacts and internal leaders to gain buy in

Responsibilities

  • Develops, negotiates, executes, and manages highly customized marketing communication plans to groups using appropriate marketing metrics and results.
  • Educates and influences stakeholders to utilize the most effective method of communication tailored to a specific company culture/audience.
  • Conveys and articulates the value of /member communication and enrollment approach including direct mail and digital as a communication strategy, campaign specifics, and campaign testing to stakeholders, including brokers, to gain approval on the various communication strategies and recommendations.
  • Analyzes and optimizes communication plans and campaign results/effectiveness for the account as a whole.
  • Oversees and executes on day to day account management including the creation and approval of account communication plans, collaborating with sales to convert non-communicating accounts, ensuring new accounts successfully kick off and managing all requests.
  • Responsible for monitoring and tracking overall budget, ensuring adherence and compliance.
  • Build and present marketing opportunities for accounts.
  • Analyzes and compiles report results and provide updates to sales teams, internal business partners, brokers, senior leadership and HR contacts on a regular cadence.
  • Provides recommendations to product, sales and marketing teams to position capabilities, solutions and strategies.
  • Stays abreast of best practices and understands market conditions and growth areas to develop appropriate tiering strategies to drive profitable opportunities for growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
